Verizon Wireless is looking to add a dash of color to the vanilla life in preparation for Valentine's Day. The U.S. carrier has announced that its Nokia Lumia 822 and Motorola Droid RAZR M will be offered in red and pink variants, respectively.
The new avatars of the Lumia 822 and the Droid RAZR M will be available both in stores and online from Thursday, Jan. 24.
"Just in time for Valentine's Day, the Nokia Lumia 822 will be available in Red starting Thursday, Jan. 24 online and in stores," noted the Verizon press release.
"The DROID RAZR M by Motorola will be available in Pink for Valentine's Day. The bright new color will be available starting Thursday, Jan. 24 online and in stores," stated the Verizon press release.
The specs of both the handsets remain unchanged post the makeover, as does the pricing. The pink Droid RAZR M, which looks more like purple, will set consumers back by $99.99 on a two-year contract. The Lumia 822, on the other hand, is cheaper and is priced at $49.99 on a two-year agreement.
Verizon's online store currently lists the Droid RAZR M in pink, along with the previous white and black options. However, at the time of writing this article, there was no sign of the red Lumia 822 on the Verizon online store and it was only available in white, black, and grey. Hopefully, Verizon will update the site soon.
With new colors for the Lumia 822 and Droid RAZR M making their way to Verizon, consumers can gift these vibrant phones to their loved ones on Valentine's Day in February.
