Now that the elusive Nexus 4 is back in stock on the Google Play Store, consumers would be hoping to lay their hands on the fabled wireless charging dock accessory for the smartphone that is equally elusive. The Nexus 4 wireless charging orb has been spotted online, and now e-retailer Pure Mobile has listed the accessory for $59.99 in its online catalog.
Earlier in January, Dustin Home, a Norwegian retailer, listed the orb-shaped Nexus 4 wireless charger for pre-order on its Web site. The site indicated the shipping date as Feb. 12, sparking off speculations that LG and Google would soon follow suit and release the accessory.
Now, Pure Mobile lists the wireless charging orb, which sports the model number WCP 400 for $59.99, but the accessory is currently out of stock.
"We're not sure if this is a placeholder or if the information is accurate, but retailer Pure Mobile has the Nexus 4 charging orb in their online catalog. Currently listed as "out of stock", the OEM built charger is listed for $59.99, with free shipping," reported Android Central.
Consumers have the option of signing up for alerts so that they are notified of the wireless charging dock's availability.
Additionally, Cesium Online too has the same model of the wireless charging orb listed, but is currently "out of stock."
With rumors rife that the Nexus 4 wireless charging dock will go on sale in February, hopefully LG and/or Google will enlighten consumers soon.
