Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has recently been in the news for price drops from various carriers and now the Verizon variant has become even cheaper. Amazon is now offering the 16GB Titanium Gray variant of the Galaxy Note 2 for $149 to new Verizon customers and at $189 to those eligible for an upgrade.
A previous report indicated that Amazon was offering the 16GB version of the handset, in both Marble White and Titanium Gray, for $199 to new Verizon customers and those eligible for upgrades.
The Galaxy Note 2 is undoubtedly one of the most popular smartphones of 2012 and is still quite popular among smartphone enthusiasts looking for a larger smartphone. The presence of the S Pen stylus, coupled with the Multi Window View feature, makes the phablet one of a kind in the market.
The 5.5-inch Galaxy Note 2 may have lost a bit of its shine once rumors regarding its succesor, the Galaxy Note 3, began flying thick and fast. The Galaxy Note 3 is supposed to be even bigger and more powerful than its predecessor and is said to pack in a mammoth 6.3-inch display.
The high-end features of the Galaxy Note 2 make it a top-end handset, which makes it a little expensive and not for everybody's pockets. However, the price drop from Amazon on the Verizon version may entice potential customers looking to buy the Galaxy Note 2.
Currently, U.S. carriers AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon sell the Galaxy Note 2 for $299.99, whereas T-Mobile offers the handset at a whopping $369.99 on a two-year contract.
Amazon does not state if the price drop is for a limited time but if you want to buy the 16GB Titanium Gray variant of the Verizon Galaxy Note 2, then you'd better head over to Amazon's Web site quickly before it runs out of stock.
