Not everyone feels comfortable buying condoms, so Durex has come up with a solution for couples in need: a new delivery service iOS app called SOS Condoms.

The British condom maker has taken things to the next level and now getting condoms is just as simple as ordering a pizza. With the new SOS Condoms app, iOS users can order condoms and have them "discreetly" hand-delivered within an hour.

"Get condoms whether it's day or night in less than one hour," reads the app's description on iTunes.

That, however, may be a bit of an overstatement considering that the service is not actually available non-stop, day or night. Interested consumers can order condoms via the app between 4 p.m. and 4 a.m.

The service will only be available in Dubai for now, but Durex is taking a poll and considering where to roll out the service next. Such a service is undoubtedly tempting to many adult users worldwide, but the company is counting votes.

So far, the U.S. has significant votes for Los Angeles, Boston, and New York City, but according to the diagram on the SOS Condoms Web site Paris has the most votes. The app's developer, Buzzman, could not confirm the same but it looks like Paris may be next. After all, isn't everyone romantic in Paris?

In Dubai, meanwhile, consumers have to purchase at least a pack of 12 condoms in order to take advantage of the free delivery service. The company vouches for the discreteness of its couriers, who will show up dressed either as pizza delivery men, police officers, or as lost tourists so as to not draw attention to themselves.

A condom delivery app launched in Dubai may seem somewhat dubious considering the country's strict laws regarding any sex-related issues. On the other hand, Dubai is more liberal than the rest of the Persian Gulf.

More than 12,000 people have already downloaded the app. Interestingly, the age restriction for the app on iTunes appears as 12+, rather than the conventional 21+ mark of adulthood. Those who don't live in Dubai can vote their city on the SOS Condoms Web site to have it considered for the app's service coverage.
