Google's Nexus 4 is currently one of the most wanted smartphone and rumors indicate that the handset will soon be available from one of the biggest retailers in the U.S., Walmart.
Per reports, the retailer is set to offer the T-Mobile varaint of the Nexus 4 soon.
"A new report has arrived via my inbox indicating the next third-party retailer to sell the much desired device will be --Walmart," reported TmoNews.
TmoNews also hints that the T-Mobile version of Nexus 4 will soon arrive at the retailer, but the specific date of arrival and price of the handset is currently not known.
At the moment, Nexus 4 can be purchased via Google Play store and T-Mobile's official retail channels. Additionally, retailers like Costco, Wirefly, and Best Buy also sell the Nexus 4.
Since the launch of Nexus 4, Google has faced a lot of criticism related to its supply as the company could not keep up with the strong-demand in the market. T-Mobile is selling the 16GB Nexus 4 unlocked at $549, whereas the Google Play store is selling the same version unlocked at $349.
The Nexus 4 unavailability issue may have diverted many customers to other smartphones, but now the differences in prices from Google Play store and other retailers may also become a deciding factor for many buyers who may think twice before making a purchase.
Recent news indicated that Google and LG are trying hard to get to meet up with the high demand, and as a result the handset was available in many regions with shipping times of between one to two weeks.
With more retailers selling the Nexus 4, potential customers can select the best suitable channel from where they can buy the handset. It will be interesting to at what price Walmart sells the smartphone.
