Nokia's Windows Phone 8-powered Lumia 920 seems to be spreading its wings far and wide. After conquering the European, Asian, and North American markets, the Lumia 920 is now set to make its way to South America and will be releasing in Colombia in a few days from now.
Per reports, the best-selling Lumia 920 will release in Colombia on Tuesday, Feb. 12 and will be available on carrier Claro.
"Good news for Colombian residents. Local network Claro is bringing the Nokia Lumia 920 to the country in only a few days, on the 12th February," reported WMPoweruser.
Currently, the pricing for the Lumia 920 in Colombia has not been announced, but should be disclosed in the next couple of days.
Additionally, reports suggest that the Lumia 920 will also make its way to Venezuela and Mexico soon.
"The February 12 is the date chosen to officially present the Nokia Lumia 920 in Colombia, but also its distribution seems that Mexico and Venezuela will start shortly. But for the moment there are no upfront price or a specific date for starting business," noted ApplicacionesNokia (translated).
Earlier in January, WP8 fans in Mexico were greeted with the release of the budget-friendly Lumia 505, which was priced at $277.
With the Finnish company set to unleash the top-of-the-line Lumia 920 in Latin America, it remains to be seen how the smartphone will perform in emerging markets like Colombia and Mexico.
