While the highly speculated LG Optimus G Pro is still doing heavy rounds on the Internet, another new Android-based LG smartphone is already in contention to appear soon.
Per reports, a brand new LG Smartphone, known as Optimus L3 2 (LG E430), has been heavily rumored to arrive with its details and specifications already out on the Internet. Two other LG smartphones – L5 2 (LG-E455) and L7 2 (LG-P715) – apart from the L3 2 are also in contention.
The information was revealed by TuttoAndroid, an Italian blog. The blog has also managed to grab hold of the specifications that will appear with the three smartphones from the Korean manufacturer's budget L-Series.
The blog states that the L3 2 is set to feature an upgraded 5 megapixel camera, although the device will be arriving with the same 3.2-inch display (320 x 240 resolution) as was that case with the previous Optimus L3. Other specs include Wi-Fi, A-GPS, and Bluetooth.
The L5 2 is expected to arrive with a much higher screen resolution, while also featuring a faster processor. The specifications leaked specify that the device will have a four inch (800 x 480 resolution) screen, a 1GHz single-core Cortex A9 processor with PowerVR SGX531 GPU and will be running on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The device could also be launched in a dual-SIM variant as well.
The leaked specifications for the L7 2, on the other hand, state that the device will have a bigger 4.3-inch IPS display (800 x 480 resolution), a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8225 processor with 768MB RAM, Adreno 203 GPU, an 8 megapixel primary camera, will be running on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and an impressive 2,460mAH battery.
“At the moment there are no details, but thanks to the image dell'Optimus L3 II you can guess that the Korean company this year will also use a form-factor similar, if not identical, to that of last year and who will take care to be present in all price ranges,” TuttoAndroid writes.
Although there is still no word on availability and pricing of these devices, it can be assumed that LG might go ahead and use the MWC 2013 as the base of the announcement, owing to the fact that it is one of the biggest events of the year.
LG had previously announced smartphones in the Optimus L-Series at MWC last year.
