A pretty good deal is up for grabs for all those who are looking to own a brand new Droid RAZR MAXX HD from Motorola.
Per reports, the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX HD from Verizon is currently available for a slashed price tag of $249.99, which is a big $50 slash from the original price of the smartphone. Verizon is the latest carrier to take a hint from what others in the same sector are doing.
However, the only thing willing users need to know about is that they will have to sign a new two-year contract with the carrier if they are wanting to own the device while it is being given away for so less than the original price.
Willing and interested customers can also head over to either Wirefly or Amazon to grab the device at a cheap price. While the former is currently offering the handset for $150, the latter will save users even more money upfront, as the device is being retailed for a small $100 on Amazon. Again, both are on-contract prices.
Wirefly, back in January this year, already started offering the device for a price tag of $150 with a two-year contract. This was a major cut from the one that was done in December last year, when Wirefly dropped the price of the Droid RAZR MAXX HD to $200.
Although the Droid RAZR MAXX HD's biggest advantage is its massive 3,300mAh battery, the Kevlar-coated phone is only 9.3mm thick, amazingly. While the display may not be full HD, users will still be getting a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with 720 x 1,280 pixels.
The device also boasts a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, 8 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, and 4G LTE. Moreover, while the device ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, an update to Jelly Bean is already available.
"Seeing that the Droid Razr Maxx HD is no longer the main star on Verizon's Android lineup, and what with the arrival of new flagship devices in the coming months, it's very likely that we'll see an even better deal for the Kevlar-coated phone soon," Android Authority states.
