While the Samsung rumor mill keeps on rolling with no sign of stopping anytime soon, there’s yet more development in the Galaxy S4 development.
Per reports, the next Android flagship smartphone from Samsung, the Galaxy S4, is said to launch in March this year, March 15 to be precise, in Moscow during the planned Samsung Unpacked event.
This new piece of information is only the newest one in an ever-growing Galaxy S4 release and specifications puzzle. This is also in tune with previous reports where it was mentioned that that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 could be released on March 15, weeks after the Mobile World Congress set to be held in Barcelona.
It is expected that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will also go on sale in the UK and the rest of Europe sometime between the April 15 and April 22, while the handset is rumored to launch in the U.S. sometime in early June, or even May.
“As well as the new rumored touchless gestures, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is rumored to come with new eye tracking technology after recent patent filings for Eye Scroll and Eye Pause were discovered, we are not 100 percent sure what these features will do as yet,” Geeky Gadgets writes.
“The Samsung Galaxy S4 specifications that are rumored include a 4.99 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, Samsung are also expected to debut their new 8 core Exynos Octa 5 processor in their Galaxy S4 and it will apparently come clocked at 1.8GHz.”
Earlier, CNET also cited a source close to the launch plans for Samsung who supposedly stated that the Galaxy S4 could be unveiled at a later date. This was because it was reported that Samsung wants a completely personal event for the launch and does not want to share the spotlight with other smartphones that will be released at the tech event.
Other rumors related to the Galaxy S4 point out to the fact that the device will be including 2GB of RAM, while also offering a choice of either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of built in storage. However, there have been rumors in the past saying that Samsung may even launch a special 128GB version at a higher price.
