The Galaxy S4 may not be official as of now but there's already some information on the device's pricing.
Per reports, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 could arrive with a tall price tag that could boast more than $400. This is assumed considering the way new smartphones are priced in the current market.
"Samsung's Galaxy S3 was introduced with the same strategy. A 16 GB Galaxy S3 device with contract was priced $199. Galaxy S3 32 GB device was introduced at $299, comparatively cheaper than iPhone 5's 32GB device," The News Tribe writes.
"So keeping in view of general trend and Samsung's own strategy, we could say that Galaxy S4, the most anticipated Android phone of 2013, will be available with starting price of $199 for 16 GB device and so on."
In other news, the Galaxy S4 is rumored to launch in Europe in April, and it is highly expected that the device could be officially unveiled at a Samsung Unpacked event in Moscow on March 15.
However, now more details have been revealed on the Samsung Galaxy S4, and they have arrived from a leaked Samsung roadmap. The roadmap shows a launch date of March, and is the same date when the handset is expected to be announced.
"According to the leaked roadmap the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be powered by an Exynos 5440 processor, we had previously heard that the device would comes with the Samsung Exynos Octa 5 processor which is actually a quad core processor, although the one listed in the roadmap is a quad core processor," Geeky Gadgets writes.
"It is possible that Samsung will release two versions of the Galaxy S4 smartphone, one for the US with a quad core processor and one for Europe with the eight core processor."
Some other specifications, per the Italian site Android Caotic, include a 5 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and it also coming with 2GB of RAM.
Other rumored features include a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for video chat. The roadmap also confirms that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will launch with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
