Samsung is releasing new smartphones with great features these days and rumors hint at additional devices. One of the devices rumored to be coming from Samsung is getting more "confirmations" as its features get leaked.
The key features of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 have been leaked, and they have allegedly come from "reliable" sources.
According to a SamMobile report, the smartphone will be coming with a 5.8-inch TFT screen with 960x540 qHD display. The phone will also sport an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera along with one 2-megapixel front-facing camera for voice chat.
The operating system part of the phone looks impressive, as it is believed to run Android 4.1.2 or 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.
Everything so far looks impressive, but when it comes to the processor of the huge phone, the 5.8-inch giant got a dual-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz supported by 1.5 GB of RAM.
According to the report, the Galaxy Mega, codename GT-I9152, will be a DUOS smartphone.
The madness over size is clearly seen in these specifications, as the device, at almost 6 inches, has got nothing that can be called extraordinary in today's situation.
Samsung's last DUOS smartphone, Galaxy Grand DUOS, was running on a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and supported by 1 GB RAM. This smartphone is more advanced than the Grand DUOS, but the screen size of the phone is also almost 1 inch bigger than that.
The screen resolution is also not very impressive, but if the device is put somewhere in the mid-range area, then Samsung can boast of many features of the smartphone.
So far, there is no confirmation from Samsung about the specification, price and the release date of the smartphone. However, we believe that Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 will be priced a little higher than the Samsung Galaxy Grand DUOS.
