Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean were the Android versions that were making headline in the tech news world for quite some time, but this week has come up with something new that will be grabbing the attention of tech buffs after may be a year if not in the new future.

Some reports have suggested that Android 6.0 version will be called 'Milkshake' and would be launched with Google's Nexus 6 somewhere next year. If the Android 6.0 is going to be Milkshake then it will be the first liquid in the list of Android versions. The point looks little unreal as Android versions being named alphabetically right now and after Key Lime Pie arrival of Milkshake doesn't make any sense.

Many people were of the view that Android 6.0 will be called Lemonade but keeping the case of Android 4 that has two names Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean, Android 5 can also have two different versions with two different names.

Android 4.0 to 4.0.4 was named Ice Cream Sandwich and Android 4.1 to 4.2.2 was named Jelly Bean. As Android has already reached 'J' and the next version is going to be from 'K', the arrival of Lemonade before the launch of Milkshake cannot be ruled out.

However, the week has also seen some rumors talking about the features of Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie that is believed to be launched during this year's Google I/O to be held in San Francisco in May.

The best among all the rumored features is the Guest Mode that can give access to the same device with different user accounts, with different kind of access to the data stored in the device. With the help of Guest Mode, others will be able to use your smartphone without having access to your personal data stored in the phone and external memory.

The Android 5.0 Key Lime is rumored to have some features similar to Google Chrome OS. Some reports suggest that Key Lime Pie will be a combination of Android and Google Chrome OS and it will let the users enjoy PC-like features.

As the week was filled with rumors related to Android 6.0 Milkshake and Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, there was some real action happening on the front of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Samsung Galaxy S2 devices across the world got the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update. Although the update for S2 devices was rolled out in February this year but S2 devices in India, UK and the U.S. are getting the firmware update now.

Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket on AT&T network is the latest device to get the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update.

LG Optimus G on AT&T has also got the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update this week. ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity has also started getting the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update.
