Google-Motorola's most rumored product so far, the X phone was supposed to be making its debut in May during the Google I/O but some reports last month turned the prospect completely down. Now, according to new rumors, the device might be making its way into market in August.
If this new rumor has made you excited, then this is just the first layer of the thick chunk of rumors. The next part of the rumor will cheer you up if you are an existing AT&T customer.
According to a report from Android and Me, the X phone will be launched in August and AT&T will have its exclusive rights for the first three months. For other carries and direct buyers, the smartphone will be available only in November.
The X phone is said to be coming with an all time activated voice control that will allow users to give voice commands to the phone. Another rumored feature of the device is predictive intelligence that will launch applications and features of the phone by the way the user holds or uses it.
There were earlier rumors that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 800 processor but now it seems that the device will not be too expensive and high-end as it was rumored to be earlier. Most probably it will come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 600 processor.
This is very strange that this is the first time when rumors related to X phone have got nothing related to its operating system. So far, rumors were suggesting that the device will be running the latest Google product, Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie that will also be launched during next month's Google I/O, but now some serious questions on the existence of the OS have been raised.
Possibilities of Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie coming to Google I/O look very bleak as multiple reports suggest the existence and testing of Android's next version, Android 4.3. Moreover the Android 4.3 is also reportedly named Jelly Bean so we cannot see any chance of Key Lime Pie being Anroid 4.3.
However, as everything coming so far are rumored reports and we still have to wait for Google or Motorola to make the final announcement of the device and the next version of Android.
