The Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) of the year 2013 is expected to bring so many new things for the fans of Apple devices, but the conference is going to be more software-oriented.
According to new reports, the keynote of the conference will have some mention of Cupertino tech giant's hardware products but the whole conference will mostly be dominated by the company's mobile and Mac operating systems.
Jim Dalrymple of The Loop published his expectations from the WWDC 2013 and said that there will be no iPhone or iPad in the keynote Apple CEO Tim Cook is going to deliver on June 10 at the Moscone West in San Francisco.
Dalrymple, who holds a good repo for his close ties with people in close touch with the maker of iDevices, said that expecting any kind of words about Apple's mobile devices during the WWDC is not suggestible as this is a developer conference and Apple always holds different launch events for its iPhones and iPads.
He also said that if anyone thinks that the absence of iPad and iPhone in the keynote or the entire WWDC conference doesn't make the event useless. "If you write a story after WWDC stating that since there was no iPhone or iPad, the keynote was a bust, you are just stupid," he wrote as the footnote of the article.
According to him, the conference will see the arrival of new operating systems for the company's mobile and Mac devices.
The next version of Apple's mobile operating system, iOS 7, has been in talks because of its new look and flat interface.
The WWDC page also suggests the arrival of new iOS 7 and OS X. "Get an in-depth look at what's next in iOS and OS X, and learn how to take your apps to the next level. With over 100 sessions, extensive hands-on labs, and engaging events, you'll connect with Apple engineers and fellow developers for an incredible week of inspiration," the WWDC announcement page states.
Apple CEO Tim Cook recently confirmed the arrival of iOS 7 and OS X 10.9 at the WWDC when he was talking to Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher during All Things D's D11 conference.
However, Dalrymple is of the view that the WWDC is not going to be software-oriented completely as it will have refreshes of some Mac machines.
"For me, the Mac products fit well with a Tim Cook keynote at WWDC. That's all I really expect from Apple in the way of hardware at the conference," he said.
Many people believe that Apple will come up with the refreshed models of MacBook Pro and MacBook Pro with Retina display during the WWDC.
