One of the best mobile games on iOS and Android has found itself on the Windows Phone 8 platform. This is the Rayman Jungle, and it is one of the most fun games now available on Microsoft's mobile platform. Players will find the title to be extremely fun and long lasting, but probably not as easy to play, as one would have liked.
Rayman Jungle puts the legendary platforming hero in an all new adventure that will span across 50 beautiful levels. The aim here is to capture as many Lums as you can, but be careful, some Lums are not easy to spot in this world. Furthermore, there are new powers to unlock as you make progress through the game, powers such as punch, run on wall, fly and jump.
Apart from collecting Lums, players might be interested in unlocking the land of the livid deads, but one would need to have skills to get that far.
Something to note, players can play as either Rayman or Globox.
We gave the game a spin and we came away impressed. Rayman Jungle is a very easy game to learn, but when it comes down to mastering it, that is when the challenges begin to show up.
We like the fact that the game is a single touch experience, because most two finger games tend to be too complicated. The aim here is to collect all the coins or Lums as the game would call it, and finish a perfect level. However, capturing all the available Lums in many levels can be quite frustrating, as some Lums are so well hidden, you'd think you have made the perfect run only to find out you missed a few Lums somewhere.
The graphics is pretty, the sound is solid, and the overall experience is fun and well worth the $2.99 price tag. Interested? You can download the Rayman Jungle here from the Windows Phone store.
