HTC One Max leaks have greatly intensified recently and the phablet has now appeared in the clearest images yet.
When Samsung launched its first Galaxy Note back in 2011, it pushed the boundaries of screen size for smartphones. While at first observers were skeptical as to whether such a big smartphone could appeal to consumers, the Galaxy Note proved to be a great success and it started an entire trend of big-screen smartphones.
Samsung followed up with the Galaxy Note 2 and the recently-launched Galaxy Note 3, as well as several other devices with large displays. Other companies then followed Samsung's lead and jumped onboard the phablet train, unleashing their own smartphones with massive screens.
HTC has not launched a phablet yet, but the company is expected to unveil such a device soon. The purported HTC One Max will reportedly retain the beautiful design of the HTC One smartphone, but will pack even more high-end specs.
The HTC One Max has now leaked in the clearest images so far, appearing on Chinese site Weibo (via Mobile01). The latest leak seems to match up with images that have appeared previously, again showing what looks like a fingerprint scanner on the back of the handset, below the camera. The power button appears to be located on the side of the device.
HTC's upcoming Android phablet is expected to sport a 5.9-inch Full HD display. In terms of processor, rumors have been mixed: it was initially speculated that it would pack the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, but recent whispers suggested it would instead have the same Snapdragon 600 as the HTC One smartphone.
Other rumored specs of the HTC One Max include a 5-megapixel UltraPixel camera, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 3,300 mAh battery and the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.
Keep in mind, however, that HTC has yet to make an official announcement, so nothing is confirmed so far. With leaks and rumors intensifying at such a rapid pace, it shouldn't be long until the HTC One Max makes its official debut. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
