The new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phablet will launch in a pink version in the UK on Friday, Nov. 1.
The fuchsia Galaxy Note 3 will be available only in the UK, and it will be exclusive to Phones4U for one month.
The pink version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is already available for order, but deliveries won't start until tomorrow. Phones4U will have the exclusive rights to sell this model for the whole month of November. It remains unclear at this point which other retailers will start offering this version after that.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was one of the most highly-anticipated Android phablets of this year and it apparently saw great demand. The previous-generation Galaxy Note 2 may have been popular, but the new iteration saw as many as 5 million units shipped within its first month of availability, Samsung recently revealed.
The latest Android phablet from Samsung is available for free with contracts starting at £42.99 per month. EE has the cheapest plan for the device, offering unlimited texts and minutes, as well as 4GB of 4G data per month. Contracts with other carriers, however, involve higher monthly costs. For now, the pink version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is only available on Pay Monthly contracts.
As expected, the only thing different with this model is the color. Otherwise, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 sports the same 5.7-inch full HD display with 1080p resolution, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, 3GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera with 4K video recording capabilities and a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter.
The super-sized smartphone runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box and comes with a powerful 3,200 mAh battery. Samsung has also added enhanced features for the phablet's popular S Pen, including a neat Air Command tool.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 made its debut last month, on Sept. 25, and it already seems to be in great demand. Pink may not be everyone's color, but more options are always welcome, especially when it comes to such hot devices.
