With just one day left before the big unveiling, the impending Motorola Moto G has now leaked with more specs details and images.
Motorola has already confirmed that its next smartphone would be the budget-friendly Moto G, which is set to make its debut on Wednesday, Nov. 13. The new handset is expected to be very similar to the Moto X in terms of design, but with lower-end specs to accommodate a more affordable price tag.
As the official unveiling draws closer, more leaks are starting to pile up. The Moto G has already been spotted in a benchmark, as well as listings on UK retailers Amazon and Tesco (both pages have since been taken down). The latest information comes from a German site that has leaked the specs of the upcoming Moto G. That page was shortly pulled as well, but nothing leaves the Internet without a trace.
According to German Phone House (via Golem.de), the upcoming Motorola Moto G will sport a 4.5-inch 720p HD display, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor (unspecified, but likely the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400), 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage capacity. The smartphone would also feature a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 1.3-megapixel front shooter, a 2,070 mAh battery, as well as HSPA, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth connectivity. The Moto G will reportedly rock Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box.
The German report made no mention of LTE support, but that shouldn't be much of a surprise considering that it's a mid-range, budget device. Another notable absence from the leaked spec sheet is a micro SD card slot for additional memory, which will likely not be part of the Moto G experience either.
In terms of pricing, the brief listings on Amazon UK and Tesco suggested that the Moto G will come with a price tag of around £149.99 (about $240). If Motorola does launch the Moto G with such an attractive price tag, the smartphone would likely see plenty of takers.
With just one day left until the new Moto G is finally official, excitement is building up and leaks continue to pour in. Just wait a little while longer for the official news from Motorola on Nov. 13 to have the confirmed specs, pricing and availability details.
