T-Mobile has started selling the new Nexus 5 and the LTE Nexus 7 in its retail stores as well, not just online.
The carrier has been offering the two Nexus devices through its online store, but with the holiday season just around the corner it has now decided to sell them in its physical stores as well for customers who prefer to pick up their device themselves.
"Starting today, our friends at +T-Mobile have both Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 available at locations around the US," reads an announcement from late Wednesday, Nov. 20, on the official Nexus Google+ page. "Find one near you: https://t-mo.co/1bDBhUO."
The Nexus 5 is one of the hottest devices right now, as it's the latest flagship smartphone from Google and LG and it's also the first device to ship with the new Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
The new Google Nexus flagship smartphone packs a 4.95-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a pixel density of 445 pixels per inch (ppi), topped with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Nexus 5 also packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.26GHz, Adreno 330 graphics, and 2GB of RAM.
Other specs include an 8-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an enhanced HDR+ mode, as well as a 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter. In terms of connectivity, the Nexus 5 supports 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 with Bluetooth Low Energy (LE), NFC, and GPS. The handset packs 16GB of internal storage capacity.
The LTE Nexus 7, meanwhile, comes with a 7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 and a pixel density of 323 pixels per inch (ppi). Under the hood, it packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, Adreno 320 graphics, and 2GB of RAM.
The 2013 Nexus 7 also includes 32GB of internal storage capacity, a 5-megapixel rear camera, and a 1.2-megapixel front shooter. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and NFC. The new Nexus 7 also comes with a Slimport for 1080p HDMI output and wireless charging support out of the box. It ships with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean but can be upgraded to the latest Android 4.4 KitKat.
T-Mobile sells the Nexus 5 for $449.99 outright or for 24 monthly payments of $17, while the 4G LTE Nexus 7 costs $384 outright or 24 monthly payments of $16. You can now find both Nexus devices in a T-Mobile store near you.
