The much-rumored Samsung Galaxy Note 3 NEO LTE has just made an appearance at the FCC, suggesting that its debut is imminent.
Samsung has been rumored to launch a number of new devices in 2014, and the company has already made several unveilings this year. At CES 2014, Samsung introduced its top-notch Galaxy TabPRO and NotePRO tablets, boasting top-of-the line specs and features.
Just a couple of days ago, the company also unveiled its Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, a slightly watered-down version of its 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3. Samsung was widely rumored to take the wraps off its new Galaxy Lite lineup at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014, but with the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite already official, the Galaxy Note 3 Lite, aka the Note 3 Neo, might also debut ahead of the big trade show. The Galaxy Grand Neo is expected to follow the same route.
The Galaxy Note 3 has already leaked extensively, with various reports revealing virtually everything from specs to benchmarks. Now, a new SamMobile report reveals having spotted the device at the FCC, sporting model number SM-N7505 and 4G LTE radios.
With so many leaks and rumors piling up and now the FCC appearance, all signs seem to point towards an imminent release for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo.
According to reports and leaks so far, the device is expected to sport similar specs to the Galaxy Note 2, featuring a 5.55-inch 720p AMOLED display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage capacity, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and the popular S Pen stylus. This model, however, reportedly ditched the front-facing camera altogether. The Galaxy Note 3 Neo is expected to ship with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box and pack a large 3,100 mAh battery.
In an interesting twist, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo will reportedly come with an Exynos 5 Hexa processor, rocking four cores clocked at 1.7GHz and two power-saving cores clocked at 1.3GHz, with all six cores running at the same time. The device is also expected to sport the popular software enhancements such as Air Command, Action Memo, Scrapbook, Pen Window, S Note, Multi Window, and others.
While it's not yet confirmed just when the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will officially make its debut, the new FCC filing signals that the launch is just around the corner. Stay tuned for more information as soon as it becomes available.
