Samsung Galaxy NotePRO up for pre-order in the UK, comes with free Android Gamepad
The 12.2-inch Samsung Galaxy NotePRO powerhouse is now available for purchase in the UK for a hefty £649 price tag.
Samsung unveiled its latest high-end tablets at CES 2014, introducing new Galaxy TabPRO and NotePRO slates. Both models are business-oriented with a focus on productivity, and they come with top-of-the-line specs and features.
While the Galaxy TabPRO trio is yet to hit stores, the 12.2-inch Galaxy NotePRO is now officially available in the UK.
"If you're planning to buy a new tablet you can now pre-order our latest Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 from our e-store," Samsung Mobile UK announced in a tweet on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
Being part of the popular Note family of devices, the new Galaxy NotePRO boasts the much-touted S Pen stylus support with notable enhancements, sports a WQXGA TFT LCD display, comes with Android KitKat on board and packs a hefty 3GB of RAM to easily handle whatever task you throw at it.
It's worth pointing out, however, that only the Wi-Fi version of the slate is currently available in the UK. The LTE model will likely launch later on, but the company offered no details in this regards at this point. This means that the Galaxy NotePRO that is now available comes with Samsung's Exynos 5 Octa processor, not the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU that powers the LTE model.
Other specs include an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front shooter, and a powerful 9,500 mAh battery that provides up to 13 hours of Wi-Fi browsing or 11 hours of video playback.
The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 also comes with some neat software pre-loaded, including enhanced Multi Window, Air Command, Action Memo, Pen Window, Screen Write, and others. Moreover, since it focuses on productivity, the tablet will allow users to run up to four apps simultaneously to take full advantage of the extra screen real estate.
Interested buyers in the UK can now pre-order the Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 from Samsung's e-store. The slate is available in black or white color options and is expected to ship on Feb. 4.
