The “Predator” series is reportedly getting another instalment with Shane Black at the helm. The film’s cast will include Trevante Rhodes, Sterling Brown, Keegan-Michael Key, and Olivia Munn. It remains unclear whether or not film makers are done with casting. However, there is one particular celebrity who confirmed that he will not be part of the project, despite having an offer made to him.

According to famed mixed martial artist Conor McGregor, film makers of the upcoming “The Predator” film approached him and made him an offer that he refused. Apparently, the fee associated with the offer was not as high as he wanted it to be.

“The came in and tried to sell this whole sh**,” McGregor said, according to avpgalaxy.net. “‘We want you to be the main guy and you’re gonna fight Predator.’” However, when he asked how much they were going to pay him if he said “yes,” he was reportedly disappointed with the number they gave him. “Not enough,” he said. “We went back and forth negotiating. So I turned down that offer.”

In addition to fee-related issues, Conor McGregor also did not agree to star in “The Predator” because of his family. “Seven, eight weeks on a film set is heavy,” he added. “It would have crept in around when he is due [his unborn son.] I did not want to get tricky with that.”

Now, the MMA fighter is being linked to yet another massively lucrative franchise. According to multiple news sources, he was offered a cameo role in the upcoming “Game of Thrones” season. It was Dana White, the boss of UFC, who told him that “these visitors want you to be in ‘Game of Thrones.’”

“I am saying, ‘Listen, come at me with sh** I want to hear,” McGregor told Entertainment Weekly. “I am not trying to be in show business. I am trying to be in the fight business. I have never been in contact with nobody from ‘Game of Thrones.’”
