Purchase a new Moto X through Moto Maker and get a free Moto E (second-generation)

Motorola has a pretty sweet deal in place, offering a free Moto E (second-generation, 3G) when purchasing a new Moto X through Moto Maker in the U.S.

The second-generation Moto E has stirred plenty of interest so far, as it comes with good specs and features for its category and sports an attractive price tag. If the Moto E wasn't cheap enough, however, Motorola now has a new deal that will bring you the handset for free.

More specifically, interested customers in the U.S. who want to purchase a new Moto X through the Moto Maker customization website will receive a second-generation Moto E completely free of charge. The Moto E is normally worth $119.99, which means this new deal will amount to significant savings.

Customers can either choose to purchase the new Moto X unlocked, paying upfront for the device, or go for a two-year contract option with AT&T or Verizon Wireless and get the handset at a subsidized price.

As a reminder, the new Moto X features a 5.2-inch display with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of internal storage capacity, and a 13-megapixel rear camera, among the highlights.

The mid-range Moto E (second generation, 3G), meanwhile, features a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage capacity, and a 5-megapixel rear camera.

This new promotion offering a free Moto E along with the purchase of a new Moto X through Moto Maker seems to be available for U.S. customers only, and will run through March 24.

To get the free Moto E, just add it to your cart along with the new Moto X, and the discount will be automatically applied at checkout. The second-generation Moto E with 3G may not be the hottest smartphone out there, but getting it for free when buying the new Moto X is a pretty sweet deal.
