ZTE USA, now official smartphone of the Chicago Bulls
Mary Cris BalancioThe Chicago Bulls have chosen, and they chose ZTE USA as their official smartphone. ZTE USA has been operating since 1998 has the second largest consumer in the no-contract market. According to research, ZTE also claims about 8 percent of the smartphone market of America, making them the fourth largest smartphone supplier in the US next to Apple, Samsung, and LG. After successfully sponsoring other basketball team franchises like the Houston Rockets, Golden State Warriors, and New York Knicks, ZTE now expands its approach to build and improve their presence in the USA by connecting with fans.
According to the Chairman and CEO of ZTE USA, to provide the best possible smartphone experience to consumers, they need to connect to them on a local level. To be able to connect to consumers, they need to interact with them to get the best feedback. One of the best ways they've shown that they do listen to feedback is by producing their smartphone Axon. ZTE Axon has been created considering their customers' feedback on what they needed and would like their smartphones to have.
On the other hand, according to Chicago Bulls' president and COO Michael Reinsdorf, ZTE's partnership with the Chicago Bulls is another major step for their team's business growth internationally. They are a big name in the smartphone industry and it is exciting for the Chicago Bulls to welcome them as a new partner. The Bulls look forward to engaging fans, supporting community events and initiatives with the partnership of ZTE USA.
Aside from the love of basketball, the Chicago Bulls also deems it important to give back to the local community, an endeavor which ZTE also supports wholeheartedly. Given this fact, ZTE has already committed itself to support large local events that Chicago holds; one of these events is Chicago Bulls' Pacific Garden Mission Thanksgiving Dinner.
Additionally, the partnership deal ZTE signed with Chicago bulls entitles them to be the exclusive presenting partner of the team's "Bulls-Eye-View, a series that showcases never before seen content that can only be seen at the team's site, Bulls.com. Aside from that, together with the Chicago Bulls, ZTE will have a sweepstakes event every season which allows the fans a chance to win a backstage Bulls-Eye-View experience.
ZTE will also have courtside signage, logo placements added to two basketball pole pads, scoreboards features, plus promotional night and hospitality as part of their three year partnership with the Chicago Bulls.
