HTC Launches Budget Friendly “One M9s”

The Taiwanese handset maker HTC has again added another beautiful smartphone into their collection by launching their latest HTC One M9s model. The latest model comes having a 64-bit MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 processor and will be powered by a 2.2 GHz Cortex-A53 octa-core and a PowerVR G6200 GPU.

It has a dimension of 144.6 x 69.7 x 9.6 mm or 5.69 x 2.74 x0.38 in and weights 158 g or 5.57 oz. HTC One M9s also has a 5-inch super LCD3 capacitive touch screen display with a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The smartphone can support 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution or 441 ppi pixel density.

HTC One M9s runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, has a 2GB RAM, and an internal storage of 16GB which can be expandable through a microSD card slot that can support up to 200GB. It will support a nano sim.

HTC One M9s also sports a 13MP primary camera supporting 4128 x 3096 pixels and has optical image stabilization, autofocus, and dual-LED flash. It also has features like geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, HDR and panorama. It can also support videos at 1080@30fps. Meanwhile its secondary camera comes at 4MP and is said to have lens that is basically unscratchable unless one uses a diamond to do so as it is slathered in sapphire glass.

The smartphone also comes with a non-removable Li-Po 2840 mAh battery. It supports Bluetooth, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, DLNA, Infrared, NFC and microUSB v2.0 in terms of connectivity. The HTC One M9 for now is being launch in one color only which is dazzling gold.

The model is said to be the budget friendly version of HTC's earlier launched One M9 smartphone. The company is accepting pre-orders now and is set to start shipping the phone by Nov. 20. It is expected that like its predecessor, it will also be launched in Taiwan. Currently it is priced at NT$12,900 TWD. There are no other news whether the HTC One M9s will have a release in the US and European markets.
