The Samsung Galaxy Note 6 could be the next big thing after the South Korean tech titan launched the Galaxy S7. According to recent reports, the device will reportedly sport a USB Type C port, along with other surprising features.

Sam Mobile allegedly confirmed the news, by stating that the upcoming flagship device will rock the aforementioned feature. However, they cannot confirm whether it will be a USB 3.1 or an older version but they wrote that logically, Samsung might choose the latest because of its compatibility to USB Power 2.0 which charges faster and has the ability to "carry HDMI or Display Port" video signals.

Should this new feature be added, the second generation of the Gear VR might also be expected to go along with the USB port. More than that, the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 might also have a water and dust-resistant feature, same with the Galaxy S7 duo, and an iris scanner.

Still can't get enough? Android Geeks also speculates that the highly-anticipated device will sport a camera with infrared autofocus module. Although the high-tech feature is already used in Galaxy 7, Samsung is reportedly looking forward to develop it even more.

Furthermore, Gizmo China listed some other features of the Galaxy Note 6: It should pack a 5.8-inch display with 2k resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor, 6GB of RAM, and a 4,200 mAh battery. The handset might also have a capacity of 256GB, which is quite enormous and first time for the giant company.

For the exterior, it will appear the Samsung will continue the tradition of having only 2 variants, one with and "edge" and other with a "plain surface." As for the release date, the website guessed that Samsung could launch the product nearly three months from now, specifically in August.

More news about Samsung's latest product (the Galaxy Note 6) are coming very soon.
