For all the eager fans of WWDC 2016, and Macbook Pro users, good news awaits! Recently leaked photos of the Macbook Pro provide everyone with a basic look of the device and its possible ports.

Shared by Cult of Mac, the photos came from an anonymous source who claimed to work for Apple's manufacturing partner in China.

The leaked image features the body of the Macbook Pro, which seems to be the 13-inch model. The keys and the trackpad are not yet in place, but the function row at the top of the keyboard is missing. According to rumors, an OLED touch panel will replace this, reported Mac Rumors.

From the size perspective, the newest Macbook model is slimmer than the present Macbook Pro models. The newest model will also reportedly have four USB - C ports, with two on the left side, and two on the right side. The model also contains a headphone jack and thin speaker grilles.

Notably, some rumors also suggest that the notebooks will consist of new hardware, as there have been consistent Thunderbolt display outages. However, in the recent years, Apple has not introduced new hardware at WWDC, and kept it as a developer and software focused event, according to Apple Insider.

Regarding the release date of the Macbook Pro, no news has been released yet. However, according to Ming - Chi Kuo, KGI Securities analyst, the new Macbook Pro will include the "most significant upgrade ever undertaken by Apple," with the release date sometime in the fourth quarter of 2016.

Thus, fans that have been waiting for the big reveal in the upcoming WWDC might have to wait until the fall to have knowledge about the specs of the newest Macbook Pro series. However, the fans can definitely enjoy the launch of iOS 10 during the event along with other upgrades Apple has to offer.
