The Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer, HTC, recently gave a short glimpse of one its much-awaited VR games, Front Defense. The VR game demonstration was given at the ongoing Computex event during which one of the company's representatives played the game and displayed the amazing features of the game.
Geeky-Gadgets reported that the VR game has been designed by the FantaHorn studio. There are reports that the game is compatible with the new HTC Vive VR headset, which has also been demonstrated in the phase one of the Computex 2016 event.
Further, there are reports that the new Front Defense game has a more sublime approach to VR gaming. It is also reported that the new game consists of exceptional graphics and play modes. University Herald reported that the VR game provides the gamers with World War II VR shooter arena. This shooter concept helps the players to position themselves behind the sandbags to fight their enemies.
Besides, the reports on the HTC Vive VR game also provides the players with different sets of weapons and stealth modes, as demonstrated during the conference event. More details are expected to be revealed soon as the game is still currently in the development phase.
Meanwhile, in order to support the developers working on the various VR games, HTC also launched Vive X during the event, which is $100 million fund. The main aim of the Vive X is to provide the budding developers with the necessary amount of money for the development of VR games and applications for the company.
According to the analysts at Super Data research, the HTX Vive X fund would be able to generate around $40 billion in the next four years' time i.e. by 2020, reported Game Reactor.
With all the reports about the new HTC Vive's Front Defense VR game trending all over the internet, few reports suggest that there is yet no update on the release date of the game.
