It was reported that "Street Fighter V" will have new updates and will launch a new cinematic story mode in June.

The update will remove the Zenny currency within the game, however, players will still be able to make item purchases with real money.

There will also be new costumes for players to choose from, including the premium ones that weren't available from the former monetization system in the game, according to Forbes.

Although the Zenny Currency was no longer retained, it was clarified that Fight Money will still exist and can be used in "Street Fighter V" since it can be acquired for free by just playing. While Zenny currency was a monetary system in which players have to buy with real money to make purchases in the game.

Meanwhile, Capcom has confirmed that the game will feature a new cinematic story mode titled "A Shadow Falls." The new four-hour long expansion will be available later this June along with new playable DLC characters.

Capcom announced that "This is the first time in franchise history that fans will be able to play through this type of cinematic experience in a Street Fighter game," reported Tech Times.

The story mode will feature the battle between the World Warriors and Shadaloo. The event started when the latter unleashed seven "Black Moons" and M. Bison acquired a mighty power that will turn the earth into darkness. Thus, Chun-Li, Ryu and Ken was set into a mission to find missing fragments that will save the earth against the evil plans of the Black Moons.

Furthermore, Capcom revealed new playable DLC characters for the expansion like Ibuki, Alex, Guile, Urien, Juri and Balrog. However, last three characters can't be played in other modes prior to its official release, according to VG247.

The company has also revealed that there will be a 30,000 Fight Money reward for those who can complete the normal difficulty stage of the cinematic story mode along with an extra mode.

"Street Fighter V" will not be an arcade game, but will only be available on PS4 and PC when its release date arrives.
