‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’ Update: New DLC To Be Released In August?
Krezna de los ReyesWhile the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" developer Treyarch has recently confirmed the newest update, a rumor leaked in the Internet that more DLCs will be launched for the next months to come.
The speculations started from the report of VideoGamesBlogger, which displayed the alleged list of Treyarch's projects and their release dates with the regards to a new DLC to be launched in August.
The rumored expansion was dubbed under the name DLC Map Pack #4 that was scheduled to release on Aug. 2 for PS4. Also, Xbox One and PC platforms will also receive a new expansion on Sept. 1, 2016, according to Crossmap.
Activision initially confirmed that they will be releasing updates and DLC map packs for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" in 2016, however the publisher didn't disclose the specific dates for each.
Because of the leaked rumor, fans are looking forward to see if the company will launch "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" at the Call of Duty XP Event in August.
As of the moment, the latest 1.11 update is already available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One players.
Players will be introduced to a new system called contracts for the multi-player campaign where they can be mercenaries in the game as Blackjacks. These features can be accessed through the Black Market, reported by iTechpost.
There will be daily and weekly contracts or challenges available for players to take from the Black Market. They will be completing the tasks as the new playable character Blackjack and Cryptokeys reward awaits them.
Meanwhile, players have the ability to equip the new character with special skills and unique personality. It can also be played as a Rogue, who steals weapons from every character it can kill or as a Gambler that can acquire random abilities that would be helpful throughout the challenge.
On the other hand, it was reported that two new weapon, camo choices and special gears will be available in June before the third DLC will be released.
As of the moment, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" players have to stay alert for further announcements from Activision to confirm the rumor.
