MacBook Pro 2016 Rumors: New Apple Laptop To Come With Touch ID?
Shilpa ChakravortyThis year's WorldWide Developer's Council (WWDC) did not bring any news about the possible release of MacBook Pro 2016. However, this did not stop fans from speculating about the possible release dates and features of the upcoming Apple laptop.
Aside from the fact that MacBook Pro will be launched soon, rumors suggested that Apple will be removing the 3.5 mm headphone jack from the upcoming model of MacBook, reported GamenGuide.
In addition, the newest MacBook Pro will also be slimmer, and will have an OLED touchscreen, which will replace the old function keys.
Notably, Apple has recently integrated Apple Pay transactions on Mac, however, users still need to use the iPhone's Touch ID feature to access that.
If rumors are to be believed, the latest MacBook Pro will get rid of that barrier, and fans can expect the MacOS Sierra to have some improvements on Apple Pay integration, reported Headlines & Global News.
Meanwhile, just like MacBook Pro, Apple iPhone 7 will also get rid of the headphone jack. Both the devices will be using lightning ports instead of the jack and a new set of compatible EarPods, which can go with it.
Additionally, speculations are rife that both the devices will be released at the same time, which further explains why there was no announcements in the WWDC.
Moreover, the upcoming laptop is also rumored to come with a new graphics card, a possible 4G cellular net connectivity, a touchscreen keyboard, and an OLED touch bar, among other notable changes.
The speculated price of MacBook Pro 2016 is in between $1399 to $2699, depending on the model.
As of now there has been no official announcement from Apple, Stay tuned on the latest rumors about much-anticipated MacBook Pro.
