Google Nexus 7 2016: Android 7.0 Nougat To Be Present On Nexus Marlin?
Shilpa ChakravortyGood news awaits Google Nexus and Android fans. According to latest reports, the highly anticipated Nexus 7 2016 might come with Android Nougat running in the device.
Notably, Nexus Marlin and Nexus Sailfish are two upcoming Google Nexus devices, which will contain Android Nougat right from the shelf, reported Neuro Gadget. The two products are rumored to be designed by HTC.
However, there hasn't been much information about Google's next Nexus device. According to PCAdvisor, Google could launch the device with £199 that is around $260.
In a recent leak of the device's specs, it has been mentioned that Nexus 7 will have 128 GB of internal memory, similar to Nexus 6P released last year. It will also include a fingerprint scanner on the flush back, almost similar to HTC's smartphone design.
The Google Nexus 2016 devices will reportedly come with a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display, Corning Gorilla glass technology, a Qualcomm 821 snapdragon processor, and a 4 GB RAM. However, they will have a different kind of battery capacity, and feature a rear camera of 12 MP and a front camera of 8 MP.
The upcoming gadgets of Nexus are said to be shaping up as clones of the 2016 flagship HTC 10, particularly the bigger "Marlin," based on the report of Android Headlines.
Meanwhile, Huawei also reportedly claimed that they will be manufacturing a Nexus device next year. The device manufactured by Huawei will be an upgraded version of current Nexus 6P. However, there has been no confirmation from Google about the continuation of Nexus 6P line.
Although it hasn't been confirmed when Nexus 7 will be released, rumors suggested that pretty soon the wait for these amazing devices might be over. Stay tuned to catch the latest confirmed news about the phone's specs and release dates.
