Macbook Pro 2016 No-Show From Recent Apple Event Is Both Good News And Bad News: Here's Why
C. de LacyAs disappointing as it seems, the highly rumored Macbook Pro 2016 was not present during the September 7 Apple event. It was bad news for others, while for some, it may actually be a good turn of event.
On a previous report, several sources have speculated that the official announcement of the Macbook Pro 2016, as well as the release will heavily rely on which CPU is going to be used for the next laptop. Given the short amount of time we have this year, it may be safe to assume that no Macbooks will also come out this year.
Regarding the CPU, pushing back a planned release date or let alone, an announcement, can indicate a number of things. This includes the possibility of considering a highly consumer-recommended specs sheet.
It may appear as bad news for those who had been eagerly waiting for the Macbook Pro 2016, but it is more of a good news if the late announcement will be overlooked. This means a good possibility of better features, processors, especially the speculation about the use of Kaby Lake.
This means more than incremental improvement from the older model in terms of processing power, high-end gaming capabilities and general performance ratio.
Older Macbook Pro owners, however, still get something somehow in the form of a macOS upgrade called MacOS Sierra.
The highly rumored iPad Mini 5 was also not present in the said event. This brings some consumers and communities to a conclusion of a dedicated event for the iPad and Mac line of products are even separated ones for each.
While the hope for an announcement may have already waned for some, Mac World still anticipates an October announcement or release and at this point, this may be the soonest time that consumers looking to replace their old Macbook Pros should wait for while fingers crossed.
Stay tuned for more Macbook Pro 2016 news.
