If the LG V20 consists of features like huge screen, dual-camera, secondary display panel, and excellent camera specs, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is fitted with an HD AMOLED display and waterproof chassis.  In order to provide you with an overview of the differences between the two devices, we have jotted down their specs and features.

To start with, the LG V20 phone sports a metallic chassis with a dual-camera setup on the back panel similar to the recently launched iPhone 7 device. The Samsung device features an Aluminum chassis with glass front and back panels. It is also lighter and slimmer as compared to the LG device.

In terms of display, the LG V20 features a huge 5.7-inch screen with IPS LCD and an always-on secondary display panel, which helps in conserving the device battery. It also provides you with 2,560 x 1,440 pixels resolution. On the other hand, the Galaxy S7 consists of a 5.1-inch screen with Quad HD AMOLED display and similar screen resolution as that of the V20 phone.

When it comes to the performance-related specs, both the LG V20 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 are powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. But, the former device consists of 4 GB RAM as compared to the latter's 3 GB RAM capacity.

Furthermore, the LG V20 consists of excellent camera specs with two 16-megapixel, 8-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera. On the other hand, the Galaxy S7 sports a 12-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front camera.

One of the biggest differentiators of the V20 and the S7 is touted to be their audio quality. The LG device features four digital-to-analog converters as well as support fine volume and L/R Balance controls, which provides you with enhanced sound quality and reduced distortion. On the other hand, the Galaxy phone sports no such special audio features.

As far as the software specs are concerned, the LG V20 is touted to be the first phone to run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat whereas the Galaxy S7 runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with expected Nougat update.

Last but not the least; the most important differentiating factor is expected to be the price. While the Samsung Galaxy S7 is priced for $699, there is still no information about the price range of the V20 device. However, it is rumored to be priced higher than the S7 owing to its brilliant specs and features.

Ultimately, choosing a device between the two will totally depend on your specs requirements and allocated budget.
