Although it is quite early to get specifics regarding release dates, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to be launched in early 2017, continuing the company's tradition of rolling out new flagship smartphones at the beginning of the year.

According to the Forbes , the Galaxy S8 will have ARM Mali-G71 GPU under its hood. Combined with a speculated 4K display and a possible octa-core Snapdragon SoC, we are perhaps awaiting a beast -More powerful than what vast majority of people will think or need!

The Samsung Galaxy S8 seems to be a 5.2-inch smartphone with 2160 x 4096 screen .There are reports that the smartphone would not be having flat screens and would rather be having the curved screen designs.

We could possibly see Corning Gorilla Glass 5.0 glass, an iris scanner, finger print scanner and wireless charging in the new Samsung Galaxy S8 as per Tech Radar. There are also reports the battery capacity in the new Samsung Galaxy S8 could be higher than the earlier Galaxy models.

With all the rumored specs put in place, we could be looking at one of the best smartphones of 2017.There is also more interest in the smartphone as it brings huge computational powers and graphical abilities.

This is because of the possibility that the secret weapon in the arsenal of the Galaxy S8 model could be the VR. The Samsung Galaxy S8 could potentially be the killer phone that allows VR to make big grounds. With Korean giant throwing weight behind its Gear VR platform, it is logical to assume that Samsung could be chasing VR with this new powerful monster.

Nothing is set in stone yet, and what we could gather are still rumored specs. While we await confirmation from Samsung, the Galaxy S8 certainly seems to have become the most anticipated smartphone of 2017 next to the Apple iPhone 8. Stay tuned for more updates.
