It seems like Tesla's most affordable electric vehicle has already got huge demands. According to Auto World News, the reservation number for the Tesla 3 has reached 373,000 as of June, validating the fact the Tesla Model 3 is one of the most eagerly awaited vehicles in the near future.

Many are skeptical of the CEO's promise of delivering the vehicle by the end of the year. Tesla has been one of the brands whose reputation was all about being more technology focussed and have only launched electric vehicles that are desirable on the global market.  With the pre-orders piled up for the model, Tesla is expected to manufacture the Model 3 in large numbers unlike any of its previous vehicles.

From a design perspective, the Model 3 is a pretty much smaller than the Model S, while a second storage space seems to be available.

The third-generation battery technology from Tesla would be making its way in the Model 3. The new battery pack is significantly denser than its predecessor. With improvements in the cooling system, there could be huge benefits associated with the vehicle, especially making the electric vehicle travel further with only a single charge.

Choice of exterior colors and alloy wheels are available for the new offering. In order to know the full range of customization options, the configurator for Tesla Model 3 needs to be launched. Unlike the exterior, the information has been less as far the interior of the electric car is concerned.

There are reports that autopilot suite of autonomous driving aids would be provided. However, the full capabilities about the same might be available only by year end.

The Tesla model 3 is expected to have a base range of 215 miles as per the confirmation of CEO Elon Musk. The base range could move to 250 miles with large battery versions.  Tesla Model 3 is expected to be priced around $35000 according to Digital Trends. The CEO has assured on the pricing expectations and has also suggested that the orders would start fulfilling by next year.

With Tesla's latest offering still in final design stages, there is a distant possibility of having the actual Model 3 differing from the initial version shown to customers. With anticipations high on the Model 3 evident in the number of pre-orders, news on its official features and design are yet to be confirmed.
