Currently, the rising trend in automobile market is that consumers are ready to buy electric cars if the models are efficient and more affordable. Many automakers have understood the shift and are moving in that direction. For Tesla, they have already gotten a head start. But how will they hold up with the demand?

The Tesla Model 3 remains one of the most anticipated electric vehicles in near future. With the reservation number for the Model 3 reaching 373,000 as of June, according to Auto World News, it seems like the most affordable electric car has already piled up huge demands.

Many analysts including Goldman Sachs are skeptical of CEO's promise of delivering the vehicle by year-end as reported in Digital Trends. With huge pre-orders piled up for the model, Tesla is expected to manufacture the Model 3 in large numbers unlike any of its previous vehicles. In a way, Tesla 3 is critical for the company's reputation as well as a lot of things is at a stake.

Looking at the design, the Model 3 seems to be a pretty much smaller than the Model S. Under the hood, a second storage space is available for usage.

The third-generation battery technology from Tesla is expected to make its way in Model 3. Compared to its predecessor, the new battery pack is significantly denser. The vehicle could see huge improvements especially with help of cooling system, making the vehicle travel further with only a single charge.

For the new auto model, the choice of exterior colors and alloy wheels are available. However, in order to know the full range of customization options, the configurator for Tesla Model 3 needs to be released. Although we have enough information about the exterior, Tesla has not revealed much about the interior, although there are rumors of being spacious.

There are also reports that the autopilot suite of autonomous driving aids would be available in Tesla 3.The details of exact features might be in public domain, perhaps by year end.

As per the confirmation of CEO Elon Musk, the Tesla Model 3 is anticipated to have a base range of 215 miles. This base range could increase to 250 miles with large battery versions.  Tesla Model 3 is expected to be priced around $35000, making it one of the affordable electric cars in today's market. The CEO has assured on the pricing expectations and has also suggested that the orders would start fulfilling by next year.

With the electric car still on its final stages of design, there is a probability of having some of the features in the Model 3 differing from what we have seen/known initially. With stakes and anticipation higher than ever, all eyes are on the release of the Tesla Model 3.
