With the NBA season around the corner, certain trade rumors suggested that the Boston Celtics might make their final move before the start of the league games. Reports claimed that the Celtics are eyeing the Washington Wizards' point guard John Wall and might give away their point guard Isaiah Thomas to seal the deal.

Sports Rageous reported that the Boston Celtics will engage in a three-team deal with the Washington Wizards and the Minnesota Timberwolves in order to upgrade their roster. According to the trade rumors, the Celtics will acquire Wall from the Wizards, who will receive Minnesota Timberwolves' point guard Ricky Rubio. The Timberwolves are expected to receive Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas as a part of the trade.

Reports claimed that Wall is expected to provide the Celtics with excellent on-court offensive and defensive skills, which will help the team to emerge as one of the top contenders in the NBA league. Also, the Celtics might team up Wall with small forward Jaylen Brown and center Al Horford in order to put up high scores on the board.

On the other hand, NBA trade rumors hinted that the deal will prove successful for the Wizards as well as the Timberwolves. Reports stated that the adding Rubio onto their roster will help the Wizards address their offensive skillsets and thus provide a tough competition to other teams in the NBA league.

Meanwhile, few reports stated that the Timberwolves will be able to focus more on improving young talent in their team with the addition of Thomas along with of Andrew Wiggins, Zach LaVine, and Kris Dunn.

However, there are hearsays that the Timberwolves are skeptical in giving away Rubio as a part of the trade. Also, none of the teams have provided any official word on the rumored trade scenario. Hence, these reports should still be taken with a grain of salt.
