A new DLC is coming for third-person shooter "Gears of War 4," featuring the return of two fan favorite maps from the previous game.

According to Xbox Wire, two of the most popular "Gears of War" legacy maps will be making their debut appearance in "Gears of War 4." These two maps were already featured in "Gears of War 3," although with a few notable differences.

Checkout

The first map lets players revisit Cole's hometown of Hanover. "Checkout" is Hanover's iconic supermarket, and twenty five years after the events of "Gears of War 3," the huge supermarket is now slowly being overtaken by nature after the Locust Wars.

This sprawling area, with its electronic store and checkout areas, will serve as a battleground for "Gears of War 4" players. Check out the Flythrough video below:

Drydock

The second map to be featured in "Gears of War 4" is the ship breaking scrapyard called "Drydock." This Legacy Map is set to make its return to the game. Watch the flythrough video below:

Both maps will be available in Versus Multiplayer and Horde modes, and will be added to free public playlists next week, Nov. 8. However, these maps will not be available forever in the game for free, as these, as well as upcoming DLC maps, will be moved in and out of the playlists regularly, PC Gamer reported.

Those who want permanent ownership of the maps would have to shell $50 for the Season Pass. Another perk of having a season pass is that they will get the maps earlier than the rest of the players, as well as the Vintage VIP Pack (the Vintage JD character skin, Vintage Gnasher and Dropshot weapon skins, Vintage JD Emblem and Vintage JD Bounty for extra XP), and the Star Airdrop package.

"Gears of War 4" is out now on Xbox One and Windows 10.
