"The Flash" Season 3 will return with all-new episode on November 15 since The CW network has decided to rerun the Season 3's first episode entitled "Flashpoint" last November 8 as an alternative to people who want to take a breather from the election drama. It has been said that all the major networks on that day covered the 2016 presidential election.

In the previous episode, titled "Monster" dealt a lot with Caitlin Snow, as viewers were introduced to her mother, Dr.Carla Tanhauser. Barry, on the other hand looked into the manifestation of a monster that is threatening Central City.

The synopsis for Episode 5 reads:

"Desperate to understand what is happening to her, Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) visits her mother, Dr. Tannhauser (guest star Susan Walters), a renowned biomedical researcher, in the hopes that her mother can provide some answers about Caitlin's growing meta-human powers. However, when Dr. Tannhauser treats her daughter like a test subject, Caitlin grows cold and brings up past wounds causing the two to have a major blowout. Meanwhile, after a mysterious new meta-human attacks Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) tries to convince Julian (Tom Felton) to let him assist on the case."

Also, the Season 3, Episode 5 finally allowed fans to see more character development of Julian Dorn which is played by Tom Felton.

Meanwhile, the Episode 6 is titled "Shade" and it was said that memories of Kid Flash might be focused in this as Wally is dreaming about Kid Flash. It seems like the characters from "Flashpoint" are moving towards the present time.

The outline for the upcoming episode states:

"When Wally starts having dreams about being Kid Flash, Barry realizes he has to tell Wally, Iris and Joe about what happened to Wally in Flashpoint in order to keep him safe."

It has also been reported that Caitlin who is also known as Killer Frost will unleash her powers but her relationship with her friends will be greatly affected. Though she keeps on trying to hide her powers, she will in the end exploit them. And for her to control it Barry and Cisco need to fight her.

There were also rumors that suggested the powers of Killer Frost will take over and will look for Dr. Alchemy. Moreover, she will take hostage of Julian.
