'Planet Coaster' vs 'Roller Coaster Tycoon World': Two Coaster Sims Release A Day Apart – Which Game Will You Get?

"Planet Coaster" is virtually the spiritual successor to the "Roller Coaster Tycoon" series that improves a lot from different perspectives. Was the game able to utilize the modern computing technology to bring the freshest content and experience? How about "Roller Coaster Tycoon World" that releases a day before it?

Two major roller coaster park sim games just got recently released and for some reason, this might confuse some fans, especially with the fact that "Roller Coaster Tycoon" just got released a day before. However, both titles may not be worth taking some space with the fans' platforms.

As much as any fan would hate to admit it, not a lot of people are finding "Roller Coaster Tycoon World" to be that much of an improvement over the previous titles it followed. With a "Mostly Negative" user reviews on Steam from 1809 reviews, some fans, old and new might be a bit skeptical at getting the game.

Visiting the link above is, more or less, a clear indication that the game could have been better. There's also a possibility of "Roller Coaster Tycoon World" being heavily compared to the other title "Planet Coaster," which happens to be actually better according to some fans.

"Planet Coaster," the game developed by the team behind the previous titles from the "Roller Coaster Tycoon" series, gets an "Overwhelmingly Positive" review score from Steam. It is quite ironic that the the title, which was supposedly holding the "Roller Coaster Tycoon" name on it wasn't able to deliver the fans' expectation, making them turn their attentions to the franchise's spiritual successor instead.

The game is visually appealing and the great thing about "Planet Coaster Tycoon" is that it is well-optimized, even for older machines, which will only be able to run it on medium to low settings without sacrificing visual quality.

"Planet Coaster" may not hold the same name, though the developers and the publishers behind it may pretty much be all the testament fans need in order to prefer it over "Roller Coaster Tycoon World."
