Rumors set out by a Taiwan's supply chain has surfaced, saying that Apple will launch a 10-inch variation of iPad Pro in 2017.

With the new size in the lineup, Apple could target the measurement needs of the various segments of its iPad market. As per the rumour, the new size of iPad Pro will go for specific markets, enterprises, and education.

This does not look like just another rumour, and instead it supports the claim of Ming-Chi Kuo, as the KGI Securities analysts,  that a 10.5-inch tablet will hit the store along with two other refreshed models of the iPad Pro.

According to DigiTimes, Apple's plans to release a new screen size of the iPad could be focused around both the current dual variants in the iPad's screen size - the 12.9 inch being too expensive, and the 9.7 inch perhaps too small. If this happens, a third segment in the market will have their screen size needs fulfilling by Apple.

Words are also going to the use of an A10X chip processor that will add more punch to the gadget. This report validates Bloomberg's internal source who talked about hardware redesign in the tablet lineup - including a much better display innovation. Moreover, the iPad Pro 2 variations will have an enhanced sound quality with quad-receivers and still hold 3.5mm earphone jacks, unlike the latest iPhone models.

There will likewise be a bezel-less iPad accompanying 10.9-inch display as indicated by analysts from Barclays. If this happens, it will be interesting to see whether the home screen button or the Touch ID sensor will be eliminated from the design after the edge-less design.

The 2017 iPad Pro variations will reportedly not be coming with OLED panels. The introduction of OLED panels is set to release in 2018.
