With the rumors that the New York Knicks' small forward Carmelo Anthony is on the trade block, the latest NBA trade speculations suggested that his exit from the team is almost decided. Reports suggested that the Knicks might send him to the Oklahoma City Thunder before the upcoming trade deadline to bring in more talented players.

According to the NBA trade rumors, the Knicks are planning to rebuild their team and trading Carmelo Anthony is on their priority list. Reports suggested that out of all the teams interested to bring in Anthony onto their roster like the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Boston Celtics, the Indiana Pacers, and the Los Angeles Lakers, the Knicks are expected to send him to the OKC Thunder.

It is stated that the rumored deal will bring in center Steven Adams, point guard Cameron Payne, small forward Andre Roberson, shooting guard Alex Abrines and a 2017 first-round NBA draft pick on the New York Knicks' roster. This is expected to help the team to improve their defensive and offensive gameplay and thus, provide a tough competition to other teams in the NBA league.

On the other hand, the NBA trade rumors hinted that the OKC Thunder are keen on bringing in Carmelo Anthony onto their roster in order to utilize his excellent defensive skills to enhance their overall gameplay.

Besides, it is stated that Anthony might be teamed up with Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook. The duo is expected to help the OKC Thunder team to work on their offensive and defensive skills and thus, put up high scores on the board in the NBA season.

However, a few reports stated that the rumored trade deal is not valid under NBA guidelines as it will violate many trade rules and salary cap terms. So as of now, these rumored should be taken with a grain of salt.

Keep posted for more NBA trade rumors and updates on Carmelo Anthony.
