Pokemon Sun and Moon hit the store shelves last Nov. 2016 and even a couple of weeks after its launch, players of the hit role-playing video game are still trying to unravel secrets hidden in the Alola region.

Clearly, the team behind Pokemon Sun and Moon have invested a lot of time and effort to make Alola as realistic as possible. They have also included some Easter Eggs that encompass Nugget Bridge and a slew of other items to where the aboriginal Pokemon started.

The Pokemon game began in the fan-favorite region of Kanto. While Pokemon Sun and Moon sheds more light on elements from the story of this region, players are still trying to ferret out other elements in other Pokemon versions including Sinnoh and Johto among other regions. Lead characters from earlier versions called Red and Blue are gracing the game as well.

Nugget Bridge

Players will see five trainers waiting on a yellow bridge at the Malie Garden, which is located to the north of Malie City. In order to move forward, the player has to beat each one of them before finally squaring off against the trainer at the end of the bridge. Before the fight starts, the trainer will ask the player if he/she would like to join Team Rocket. After beating the trainer, the player will get a Nugget.

Old trainers can identify this with the original Nugget Bridge from Red, Blue, and Yellow, according to a post on Bulbapedia.

Kanto References

Aside from the Nugget Bridge, there are other indirect references to the original Pokemon games in Sun and Moon.

A player's character just moved from Kanto, the aboriginal world from Red and Blue. Professor Kukui raised Lance, along with the authentic Elite Four. Lillie headed to see Bill, in order to uncover more details about human/Pokemon transformations. Interestingly, the protagonist and the villain from the OG games will also make an appearance.

Game Freak Office

Every Pokemon game offers a sneak peek at Game Freak's office. Ideally, these are mere small rooms where players can get a prize for their maxed out Pokedex; however, Pokemon Sun and Moon takes things a step further. The game developer has meticulously recreated the office in Heahee City, iDigitalTimes reported.

There's Ash In Pokemon Sun And Moon

Ash Ketchum's picture with Pikachu can also be spotted inside the closet, where Mimikyu hides.
