HTC 11 Release Date Set On April 2017? Device Expected To Feature 10nm Snapdragon 835 Processor, 3,700mAh Battery & Android 7.0 Nougat
Kirsten KaneHTC, the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer is said to release its new flagship soon dubbed as HTC 11 after the success of one of the best handset in the market, the HTC 10.
Rumors have it that the HTC 11 will be released in June next year with impressive features and specifications. It is said that the phone might be the best in 2017 since the company has been reported to bring major changes in both the hardware and software of the highly anticipated device.
However, according to PCAdvisor, there is "a 12 month cycle for HTC's new phones, which puts the HTC 11 launch date in April 2017. Traditionally it has launched in March: only the HTC 10 in recent years launched later in the year."
Meanwhile, latest leaks suggest that the HTC 11 will run the 10nm Snapdragon 835 processor with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 making the device more powerful and operate faster. You'll charge it less often and it won't take too long to do so. It is also said to sport a 5.5-inch QHD display which is way better than the 5.2-inch display of the HTC 10.
Rumors are rife that the device will carry 8G of RAM and might have an internal storage space of 256 GB.
In terms of its camera, as reported by Digital Trends, "the rear-facing camera is 12-megapixels and the front-facing 8-megapixels - a bump up from the 5-megapixel shooter on the HTC 10." The battery is said to pack a 3,700mAh. It's also expected to be pre-installed with the Android 7.0 Nougat.
Te device is said to be waterproof which is more improved since the HTC 10 isn't waterproof but most of the latest gadgets are now IP67 or IP68 rated, and if HTC won't have this in their latest devce, it's just another reason to buy from Samsung or Apple.
As for the price, the HTC 11 is estimated to be around $633 to $760.
HTC 11 is yet to be announced and the company is yet to confirm the rumored device and give more details about it.
