DOTA 2: Spring 2017 Asian Championship announced!

As of general knowledge of the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) community that the DOTA 2 fall Major will be held at the United States and the DOTA 2 Major in spring will take place in the region of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), China may have looked like not included out this season from holding out a DOTA 2 tournament Major. DOTA 2 creators, VALVE, was able to make a way to get around two major tournaments they released in this year, by reviving the DOTA 2 Asia Championships.

Originally a test now the format for Major tournaments, the DOTA 2 Asian Championships, held on the earlier part of 2015, was almost two week long, 12 days to be exact, international mode event of DOTA games played, which witnessed around more or less 160 games.

Though the Major tournament has been announced for 2017 spring, gossips and rumors mentions that the tournament might happen at the end of February or in the early part of March next year. Surprisingly, the qualifying phase for the Kiev DOTA 2 Majors will be held at the first week of March, it would be ideal that the DOTA 2 Asian Championships to take place before the Kiev qualifiers happen, to make sure the results of the event will have a significant effect for the invited teams on the Kiev Major. A lot of DOTA enthusiasts are excited for the return of the DOTA 2 Asian Championships, and are hoping that the event format will use a familiar like the last event. It will be beneficial and entertaining to have a Major tournament before TI7 that would be a group double elimination event Rattle Royale.

With the recent deployment of the 7.0 patch, the community will witness various adjustments on team strategies, lane rotation and character matchups.
