No voice of any virtual assistant can compare to the experience given by Azuma Hikari, the holographic character who resides inside the Gatebox, The answer of Japan to Amazon Echo, but not really.
Gatebox is designed with a screen and projector that brings the holographic character, Hikari, (Japanese for "Light") that brings light inside the device. The device external parts are microphones, cameras, and sensors to detect movement and even temperature, so Hikari can communicate and interact with the user on an intimate level, instead of a voice in a phone.
A fully interactive female voice virtual assistant, at her base control is able to manage your smart home equipment. Installed sensors have facial recognition and also voice recognition. Gatebox is designed to be a companion that can be your morning alarm, remind the user of the scheduled task and activities, a reminder on to do things and even welcome the user upon return to the house. Bluetooth and permanent internet connection is included, the device can be part of the user's hub that is linked to a television via HDMI connection

More of the loved characters will sure to come in the partnership of Gatebox and Vinclu, if the product will be a success
