‘Final Fantasy XV’ PC Release Date: PC Version Unlikely To Happen Soon
VionaFinal Fantasy fans have been pressing Square Enix to bring the "Final Fantasy XV" game to PC. The last time the company did this was through its Final Fantasy XIII.
Interview with Director Hajime Tabata confirms that the PC version of "Final Fantasy XV" may need a long time to happen, at least a year and that's only the initial steps. He added that there are other demanding tasks that need to be completed.
In total, it acquires at least 2 years to finish a high-quality PC game. Rumor has it that Tabata started the "Final Fantasy XV" PC version on April when Tabata taunted the idea.
According to Game N Guide, Tabata also boasts that the PC version of "Final Fantasy XV" will have additional contents and unique features. However, around the month of October, Tabata's tune changed from certain to uncertain.
Tabata's change of heart may have stemmed from the past experience of Final Fantasy XIII. After its initial launch, the game was ported down the line. Fans are hoping that "Final Fantasy XV" won't meet the same fate as its previous series, as reported by Inquisitr.
There are also rumors that "Final Fantasy XV" will be released in PSVR. Due to high demand, Square Enix raised the retail price to $269.99.
There's no confirmed report so far whether PC or PSVR version will be made. Further update will be given in the upcoming year.
Here's a video for further information of "Final Fantasy XV" PC version. Comment below whether or not you're expecting the PC version.
