The HTC 10 had been a powerhouse of a smartphone; but despite its impressive features, it got buried underneath the more competitive array of specs from rivals Samsung, Apple, and Google. As such, tech enthusiasts are already clamoring for its next mid-range smartphone: the HTC 11, which is slated to be released in January 2017.

Excited to know more about the HTC 11? Here's a roundup on everything there is to know about HTC's newest flagship: specifications, features, upgrades, price details, release dates, and more.

Specifications And Features

Latest reports on the HTC 11 reveal that the upcoming smartphone will have a 5.5-inch (1080x1920) QHD display powered by the Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU. The HTC 11 is also juiced up with the Adreno 540 GPU for its graphic performance, while its storage is pegged at 8GB of RAM with an internal memory storage of 256GB, Gadgets reported.

In many ways, the report added, the upcoming HTC 11 will be just like its predecessor, the One X9. Given its impressive specifications, the HTC 11 is purported to be the new flagship for HTC.

The upcoming HTC 11 will also sport the latest Android 7.0 Nougat, which is customized with HTC's Sense 8 UI. Like its contemporaries --- the iPhone 7, Samsung Galaxy Note 7, Huawei P9, among others --- the HTC 11 is also believed to have a dual-camera setup. Both rear shooters will be at 12MP, while its front cam will be at 8MP. It's expected to run on a 3,700 mAH battery as well, according to Times News.

Release Date And Price Details

Meanwhile, information is thin with regards to the HTC 11's release date and expected price range. However, reports are pegging its release around January 2017 and is expected to cost around $690. This would put the upcoming smartphone in the mid-range niche. No official announcements have been made yet regarding the HTC 11, so stay tuned for more details.
