‘Gran Turismo Sport’ Release Next Year To Shake Up The Racing Games Scene
Mark Jason AlcalaWhen "Gran Turismo Sport" release date arrives next year, it looks like Polyphony Digital's latest title is set to shake the racing genre up a bit just like its distant predecessor. The upcoming racing title is touted to bring forth previously unheard of stunning visuals because the game is optimized to take advantage the enhanced performance of Sony's latest console, the PlayStation 4 Pro.
"Gran Turismo Sport" comes from a long line of racing titles. When the first game rolled out in 1997, the racing game broke records, and was well-loved by both gamers and critics. It became a new benchmark of the genre and eventually made its way to the top becoming PlayStation's best-selling game.
With 2017 being the racing franchise's 20th anniversary, it looks like the upcoming "GT Sport" will once again shake up the racing games genre. Kazunora Yamauchi, CEO of developer Polyphony Digital is particularly proud of what the game will bring to the table.

It will feature a stunning 4K resolution at a smooth 60 frames per second, reports Alphr.
